On Thursday, November 2 at Music House Daile at 7pm, within the frameworks of Art of Riga Jazz concert series, Terry Bozzio /USA/ will present a solo musical performance on world's largest tuned drum set. This exact concert is presented to be a real music show, theatrical performance, and we bet you have never seen anything like this before. 
 
Only Terry Bozzio can play a melody on percussions so it will sound like a piano. Bozzio has been working on the concept of creating his own drum set, which nowadays is fully developed and contains 26 toms, 2 snares, 8 bass drums, 53 cymbals, 22 pedals and other. Terry Bozzio is able to weave a hypnotic spell over audiences and enthrall them with an eclectic experience filled with contrast, excitement and passion. Unique opportunity to enjoy unique performance. 
 
Terry Bozzio was born in San Francisco, California. He started playing makeshift drum sets at age of 6. Ranked as one of the world’s best drummers of  “Rolling Stones: 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time” in 2013. Bozzio has worked with top musicians such as Jeff Beck, Quincy Jones, the Brecker Brothers, Herbie Hancock and Frank Zappa, with whom he has recorded almost a quarter hundred albums.
 
Concert series „Art Of Riga Jazz” were specifically made for musical connoisseurs, as the program brings up exclusive concerts and workshops by artists who visit Latvia for the first time. Last year concert attendants had an opportunity to enjoy and discover such genre masters as Bill Laurance, Kristin Asbjornsen and Lionel Loueke. Continuing traditions many interesting concerts are also expected this year.
