Jazz cruise "Misisipi" returns to the harbor of festival "Rigas Ritmi"!

  From 4th to 6th of July festival "Rigas Ritmi 2013" offers a delightful jazz cruises to enjoy the concerts of jazz together with wonderful night rides along the river Daugava.

  This summer within the festival “Rīgas Ritmi 2013” jazz cruise “Misisipi” is renewed. Festival „Rigas Ritmi” offers a unique chance to attend high quality jazz music concerts together with a wonderful cruise along the river Daugava in the late evenings.

  During the festival 3 concerts will take place on a jazz cruise „Misisipi”.
On 4th of July audience will be delighted by Slovakian 15-year-old guitar prodigy Andreas Varady with his trio and Latvian jazz team – Riga Jazz Quartet - pianist Viktors Ritovs, percussion artist - Artis Orubs, bassist - Edvīns Ozols and saxophonist - Toms Rudzinskis.

  On 5th of July – gospel reggae musician from Nigeria – Dominion Man and Latvian/Danish jazz tandem - Frank/Pashkevich Experience, which represents a combination of sounds where modern jazz meets improvisation with fragments from blues and beautifully lyric ballads.

 
  On 6th of July – finalists of the International jazz artists contest „Riga Jazz Stage 2013” and talented Israeli guitarist Ori Dakari with Latvian jazz vocalist Evilena Protektore.
