Grammy-winner Kurt Elling created true sense of jazz music celebration. His prominent vocal performance was supplemented by Laurence Hobgood piano and Latvian Radio Big Band instrumental accompaniment, which presented great solo performances.

Audience was intrigued by Elling’s majestic lyrical figure even before his captivating voice began to roll. Along with Latvian Radio Big Band legendary jazz vocalist performed the best compositions from his earlier albums.

In this concert Latvian Radio Big Band collaborated with Swedish trumpeter – Lasse Lindgren. Great numbers of musicians fascinated audience with spectacular musical performances, volatile improvisations and luxurious compositions. It can be said, that this concert was this year's culmination in Latvian jazz music.
